Parade FAQs
When is the parade?
Friday, July 3. The parade steps off at 9:00 AM.
What time does the parade begin?
Parade kicks off at 9:00 AM.
What is the parade route?
Parade begins at E. Century Road and Farview Avenue, heads north on Farview Avenue, turns east onto Midland Avenue, and ends at Memorial School. See the Parade Information Page for the full route.
Where can I watch?
Anywhere along Farview and Midland Avenues. For a great view, head to the grandstand at Christ Lutheran Church on Farview Avenue.
Is there parking available?
Limited parking is available on the side streets off Farview Avenue (Harmon, Wyoming, Heights, Concord, Arnot) and walk to the parade route.
There is no parking at Memorial School. See the Parade Information page for details.
Please be mindful of driveways, no-parking zones, and posted restrictions, and arrive early to allow time to park and walk over before the 9 AM kickoff.
How do I march in the parade?
Registration is still open, but all participants must complete the Parade Application in advance and be approved — you cannot just jump in on the day of the event.
Anyone who attempts to join the parade without an approved application will be removed immediately. To apply, fill out our Parade Application by June 30th 2026.
When do roads start closing for the parade?
Road closures will begin as early as 7:00 AM in order to prepare for the parade.
As we get closer to the 9 AM parade kickoff, roads closest to the parade route will close progressively, so please plan your route and arrival accordingly.
The earlier you arrive, the easier it will be to park and get into position.
Will there be vendors at the parade?
Independent vendors are not permitted along the parade route.
What happens if it rains?
The parade is scheduled for July 3; any weather-related updates will be posted on our homepage and social media.
